So Gearbox decided to hand me a free code for Borderlands 4… which is basically like giving a raccoon the keys to your house. You know it’s going to end in chaos, you just don’t know how much chaos. Spoiler: it was a lot. Borderlands 4 is apparently the hottest thing on Earth right now. Steam charts are bursting, YouTube is full of people screaming over loot drops, and TikTok edits already think this game can cure depression. Meanwhile, I’m over here trying to figure out how to crouch while a robot calls me a ‘meat bicycle.’ This isn’t a serious review. It’s not even a review, really. It’s me. Oh, and the price tag? Eighty pounds. For that money I expect at least one gun that makes me breakfast.
