During my lunch break at my office, I thought it would be difficult to catch the 6k Series cars running on the 🔴Red Line🔴 because most cars on this fleet often run on the 🟢Green Line🟢, but I did catch two sets of Alstom trains from the cafeteria of my office running in 🔴Red Line🔴 service. After completing my day at the office and finishing my meeting with my coach, I was lucky enough to catch one of the two Alstom sets that ran on the Red Line rather quickly. And so it gave me additional time to work with following my runs on the 🔴Red Line🔴. Even though any model can use any yard, the main difference with this Subway System compared to New York’s is that no train models are assigned to any one yard or route like how R68 cars 2500 to 2750 are assigned to the (D) Line since they are based at Concourse Yard. In the WMATA Subway, any train set can run in service on any line. Even though some models might be harder to catch on other lines, they are always out there and roaming on all lines randomly.
