Video was made playing v1.1 In this video, not only will I show you where and how to get all 27 starter Pokémon, you can get all 27 starter Pokémon as soon as you reach Fallarbor Town for the first time. Enter the move tutors house and speak to the old man sitting at the table, he will offer to trade you one starter Pokémon egg for 1 colored shard of the matching type, red for fire, blue for water, green for grass. SHARDS You should have 100 of each shard by the time you reach Fallarbor town, if for some reason you don't or you use up all of your Shards getting eggs, you can purchase more in Slateport city in the marketplace on the left side of town, not the Poké mart. SHINY ODDS You can get shiny Pokémon from the Eggman; however I cannot give you exact shiny odds because this is a Rom hack, I can tell you that in the original Pokémon Emerald shiny odds for hatching Pokémon where 1 in 8192 and this was changed in gen VI to 1 in 4096 and the shiny charm did not exist in Pokémon emerald, it was introduced in Gen V. So, if this game has shiny odds based off gen V, then with the shiny charm we get when we start the game, we have 3 in 8192 which is 1 in 2730. Now if this Rom hack is going off current Shiny odds, which I would like to assume it does, then we have a 1 in 4096 with the shiny charm that's 3 in 4096 which comes to 1 in 1365. I won't bother going over the Masuda method because I'm not using it, nor do I know if it's even an option for the Rom hack but if it is then your odds are 1 in 512 with current shiny odds. HOW SHINY ODDS WORK Now let me explain, just because you have a 1 in 1365 does not mean you are guaranteed a shiny after hatching 1365 eggs, it means that each egg you receive has a 1 in 1365 chance to be shiny so you can get a shiny after hatching 20 eggs or it could take thousands, it's just RNG. MY METHOD FOR SPEED HATCHING I also share with you my method for speed Hatching that I use for Getting Eggs from the Eggman and the Day Care man, because what's most important at this point, because we basically have max shiny chance thanks to the shiny charm is how many eggs we can hatch as fast as possible. Thankfully this rom hack allows eggs to be hatched at greatly reduced distances, and that is to make a save state before you grab eggs from the Eggman, grab all 5 of your eggs hatch them then simply load your save state, YES, WE ARE ABUSSING THE SAVE STATES! By loading the save state you don't need to release Pokémon this saves you a lot of time and thus you get to grab more eggs and hatch them that much faster. This also saves you on shards, I have shown you in the video by loading the save state and grabbing a new set of eggs that each egg is different as well as the fact we get a SHINY from one of them. Now doing this using my method I can hatch 5 eggs in just over 1 minute which is about 300 eggs an hour. Now using this same method with the Day Care man, put the two Pokémon you want to bread in the day care and run around until the Old man has an egg for you, make a save state before you grab they egg, because the egg isn't predetermined, it shiny checks and everything else pass when you obtain it. You can see how you can save a lot of time as well not only by cutting out the time it takes to release Pokémon but also the time it takes you running around to get an egg to appear because you've made a save state, with an egg ready to go. Now this isn't as fast as getting eggs from the Eggman because you can get 5 from him without moving and hatch them and then proceed to hatch 5 eggs at one time. But you grab your one egg and begin hatching it, now if lucks on your side the day care man may have another egg for you before your first egg hatches or at the very least immediately afterwards if so grab the next egg and hatch it keep doing that as long as he has eggs for you until your party is full and all eggs are hatched if no shiny, then load your save state and start again, if he does not have an egg for you after your egg hatches simply load your save state, because it's a lot faster to load save state (especially if you're on PC and have your save and load states on hot keys) then it is to run around waiting for another egg, cause sometimes the eggs comes quick other times it takes forever. What we are after is hatching as many eggs as fast as possible, sometimes you'll only hatch one egg before loading your state sometimes you can get 4 or even 5 if your fortunate, I usually get 2-3 before loading.
