The beach was completely unfishable, but that didn’t stop us from catching fish! 🌊🎣 With the waves still too rough to safely fish from the beach, we made the call to fish from the rocks at Mussel Rock instead — and it paid off big. On this trip, we managed to catch 5 rainbow perch while fishing the rocks under surprisingly warm conditions. Even though it is still winter, the weather felt unreal with temperatures nearing 70 degrees, making it an awesome day to be outside. I was out there fishing with my wife and kids, turning this into a great family fishing day while staying safe around rough surf.
