Older Adult Bullying: A Neglected Issue In the Pandemic Recovery

Professionals, advocates, and community members each raised concerns regarding bullying, abuse neglect, and exploitation at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. As we transition from pandemic to endemic with fewer required restrictions, we still need to be alert for the signs and symptoms of these kinds of maltreatment and the long-term effects to the survivors. This Community Conversation will include an introduction to older adult bullying as a global issue differentiating it from elder abuse, a discussion on prevention efforts, and provide a platform for information sharing, learning, and advocacy.
