Their strategy is to get dismounted by mobs near you i.e. the gatherer, so they get no cooldowns, then they'll just stick to you while dealing a lot of damage. I actually almost got purged here, though I still had invis pot. As for why I let them dismount near me? It's the same 8.3 dagger pair ganker as in Ep 18, based on their buffs and HP. I couldn't hear this invis pot this time as well. In hindsight I should have used Emergency Shield first before Iron Will and Miner Workboots. (Also, if you got jumpscared by the music, now you know how it really feels to gather in the mists :)) I tracked favor off-screen this time, got 584 favor from this run, ~9k silver worth of siphoned energy. So yeah, not good. I also had to trash some items since my inventory didn't have enough space. "Fun" fact: even though there was the "Mist Opportunities" daily activity, you don't actually get a 10% bonus to gathering fame (or combat fame from killing resource mobs), as far as I'm aware, after comparing the fame gained here with last episode's fame. What a scam. So, do you think it's worth risking 9.10 mil (4.26 mil if using non-avalonian tools) for 4.25 mil worth of resources in 1 hour if you get lucky and don't die? P.S.
