We said we would play more ancient Irish harp tunes, because they're beautiful, so there you go. This is Eleanor Plunkett, one of the most popular compositions of Turlough O'Carolan (in Irish, Toirdhealbhach Ó Cearbhalláin), a blind Irish harper, composer and singer (1670 - 1738). JJ kind of tries to simulate the sound of a harp on the guitar during the first time we play the tune. Hope you like it! More info: We played another O'Carolan's composition (you can briefly hear it at the end of this video): Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór. You can watch it here: • Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór - Low whistle and guitar It's a Susato low F whistle, by the way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TINWHISTLER'S LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS: *TinWhistler is ten years old! :) If you've enjoyed our music on YouTube for the past 10 years and would like to support TinWhistler, why not become our official patrons? :D Check out our Patreon page: / tinwhistler *Remember our first album is available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify... and Bandcamp: https://tinwhistler.bandcamp.com/ *Stay tuned by following us on Facebook and Twitter! / pjtinwhistler / pjtinwhistler *JJ has just released his solo album.
