"PAMASKONG HANDOG SA'YO, KABAYAN" 2022 through SOFAK Foundation

On December 30, 2022, our yearly Christmas event “Pamaskong Handog Sa’yo, Kabayan” (Christmas Gift to a fellow countryman) was successfully conducted at St. Martha Church of the Maria Sterre der Zee Parish in The Hague. Holidays are supposed to be a time for rejoicing and giving. However time has become so difficult that observing a decent celebration for this joyous season became a struggle. This season is meant to be enjoyed by everyone. Unfortunately, with the rise in food prices brought by inflation many had to let this holiday pass with a very tight budget. It is with great joy and gratitude that we came across SOFAK Foundation. Its financial support helped us materialize this simple but meaningful gift-giving activity last December 30, 2022. Our recipients were grateful for receiving food packs just before the year ended. It was a pleasant Christmas surprise for many. And for this special moment we gathered and enjoyed the generosity of SOFAK Foundation!
