Hi friends! At 18-years-old, on February 3, 2018 (exactly a year ago today), I suffered a significant ischemic stroke that initially left me completely paralyzed on my left side. And today, it has been exactly a year since I had a stroke. Happy Strokeaversary to me!! It has been quite the year, but I am happy to say that I am alive and making great progress! I'm so excited to see what this next year brings! I encourage you to come along on this journey with me and contribute to a supportive community. After all, everyone needs support because recovery is a taxing endeavor. Life is beautiful and no matter your circumstance, you can certainly view it as such.
