Interstate Adventures Goes Home! We make a surprise visit to our son! | RV Travel S2E1

We RV Travel Home for a change, and tell you all about our Summer Break and fill you in on what we've been doing in our downtime! We started off by going home to New Jersey for a surprise visit to our Son who had no idea we were coming. After fighting through the North East traffic between Washington DC and New Jersey, we finally made it to a friends house to moochdock for 3 weeks. We had everything all lined up, but he managed to mess up the plan, so our friends had to come to the rescue to save the surprise! Our friend Jake invited us to hang out with the cool kids and go ATV riding for the day, as long as we put him and his friends in one of our videos, which we were more than happy to do, After checking with our legal department of course (Jake's Parents) Who hands down said it would be totally fine. Don't forget to read our articles at https://interstateadventures.com We did a bunch of RV Upgrades in our time off, so that we could boondock and take advantage of dispersed camping this season. We upgraded our RV Vent Fan in the bathroom, added a RV Solar System, and MicroAir EasyStart's to both air conditioners so we could run both RV AC units on a 30 amp site. For the Fourth Of July week, our friends from home had a Group Camping trip planned that we tagged along on at Yogi Bear Jellystone Campground in Quarryville PA. Our group of friends takes everything to the next level, and kicks up the camping food game to include some of the best camping food you could have. We dined on flame broiled steaks, a nacho table for Taco Tuesday and even had a Sea Food Boil complete with crab legs and craw fish. Later that night we deep fried everything. I'm talking deep fried oreos to deep fried PB and J. After saying our goodbyes to our friends, we headed south and Loretta booked us the most romantic Harvest Host she could find for our Anniversary, a Tractor Museum, so she could do SeedFlinger research of course. The best part of the tractor museum is they had antique cars and antique trucks, antique firetrucks, and even big rigs! Doug said since we are heading south we should go to visit his best friend at his new house in South Carolina and do some more Moochdocking. Everything was going great, until we pulled in and tried to back the RV on to the lawn. The truck fell into the old septic tank that no one knew was in the front lawn, and a rescue mission to save our truck ensued. After we left Bucks house, we headed to North West South Carolina to visit Dougs Brother Mike and his family for a week. Our Niece and Nephew played a good joke on us while we were there, Loretta's best friend Jenny came to visit and have a sleepover, AND we met fellow youtubers Captain And Michele! Check out their channel here:    / @thecaptainandmichele   We finished out our Summer Break with Loretta's Family Reunion at Pipestem West Virginia Resort State Park. We have been RV Living Full Time for over a year, and this is the first week we haven't slept in it since moving in. The whole family rents an entire cul-de-sac of cabins and each cabin hosts dinner and a fire one night all week long. While the family is together we decide to all go play golf in the rain, and even teach some of the younger generations how to golf! Loretta's Brother gives Doug a lesson to improve his Golf Driving, which really pays off! Our Son learns that he really enjoys golf, and is just as bad at is as we are! Must run in the family. We kick off Season 2 by doing a mad dash from the East Coast to West Yellowstone to meet up with friends for a Group Trip to Yellowstone National Park.
