Choreographed by Anish Popli Performers : Inder Jot Singh Rahul Ray Shashank Kumar Aditi Rao Arman Kainth Manager : Swati Sodhi Performed by Team Choreotheque at the British Council, New Delhi, today based on the installation Museum of the Moon, created by UK artist Luke Jerram and kickstarts the 70 years celebrations of the British Council. “Wherever in the world you may be, the moon remains the same. Beyond boundaries, beyond seasons, beyond the inconsistency of the world, the moon is constant. This choreography portrays the connection of a soldier in a battlefield to the moon, which is often the only thing that is common to home. It explores the memories, the dreams and the association with the moon for a soldier far away from home, in an unknown land, where the only familiar companion is the moon.”
