In this edition of Weekend at Mewata, the King’s Own practices weapon handling on their current arsenal including the C6 7.62mm General Purpose Machine Gun, the C9 5.56mm Light Machine Gun, the C22 Full-Frame Modular 9mm Pistol, and the Carl Gustaf 84 mm Recoilless Rifle. Thrown into the mix is the C13 Grenade as well as dismounted drills involving patrolling and reacting to contacts. These weapon systems form the core armaments of any armoured soldier, which is further augmented by armoured fighting vehicles such as the Textron Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle and the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon LUVW.
