In this video, I test the purple and violet colors of Holbein Artist Watercolors. My favorite color is purple so I wanted to see what Holbein had to offer in their purples. I found that my 2 favorite colors are Permanent Violet and Bright Violet. Bright Violet may be my new favorite color! best thing about Holbein watercolors is they don't have OxGall in them so they won't dry up in hard un-workable clumps. 2 tubes in the video are different from the rest because Holbein has changed their packaging this year. The new tubes are silver and show you more of the color on the painted on label, where before they were on paper wrapped around the tube. I realized after the video was shot that I didn't use the Holbein Lavender color. Lavendar and the Lilac are colors that have white in them.
