Hello and welcome to this second part of my trip to Reading. In the first part, we looked at services from the eastern end of the station. In this part, we will be looking at the train services from the western end. This end is where the lines to Bristol, Basingstoke and Exeter St David diverge off from the main Great Western Mainline. The views are okay with some obstructions, the range of traction is great with two HST diagrams running to Paddington and the frequency is also great.
