The Respected Gentleman was on British tellyvision in May 2011. Here is the full episode in all its glory. The Hotel Inspector Season 7 Episode 4 ("Brendan Chase") Alex Polizzi visits the Lake District to help 63-year-old David Maloney with his dated B&B. The 11-bedroom Brendan Chase has a strict set of rules and has largely ignored the internet age, making it unpopular with some guests. Alex tries to break through the owner's defences to improve his chances of making a bigger profit. http://www.channel5.com/shows/the-hot... over 1 year ago Disgruntled Walker "I have just spent a night at Brendan Chase with four mates and only discovered afterwards that the Hotel Inspector had been there.I am sorry to say that he has gone back to his old ways as shown at the beginning of the episode. The place was grubby. The shared shower and toilet facilities were disgusting. There were a group of american students also there and he was definitely not very welcoming to them. They were somewhat bemused and I had to tell them not to judge British B/B's on this visit. He was not very happy letting them pay by credit cards and he also was sharp at breakfast when they did not appear to follow the correct British etiquette. He was not happy that some of us did not want the full english breakfast as he would be wasting all the meat that he had cooked for it.Having said that the full english breakfast did look good and those who had it did enjoy it.He still bombards everyone with rules.I would liken the place to Faulty Towers without the humour.Come back Alex and see for yourself!" The Brendan Chase is named after "Brendon Chase," a 1940s book and 1980s British tellyvision show about three brothers who run away to the fictional Brendon Forest to fend for themselves for a year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brendon_...
