*PLEASE READ* ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **UPDATE: The CURRENT production Flare is NOT compatible with the Tempest, and may not be compatible with the Stunner or Thermal Accumulator either. I have only just become privy to this information. Apparently, the issue arose when a change was made to the circuitry after an electrical shorting issue was discovered early into the Flare's production. The change that was made to address the shorting unfortunately nullified any compatibility with the Tempest, and potentially the Stunner and TA line; according to some accounts I've read. In light of these revelations, I would currently recommend purchasing the current Flare model for use with BFG's line of vapes ONLY. Everything else carries no guarantee toward compatibility. I have been told by both BFG and YLL that the next production run of the Flare will be revised to better support and handle the Tempest and other 3rd party vapes. My Flare unit is one of the original batch with the electrical short issue, however, I am lucky that it has not failed. My apologies for any confusion. How the hell ya been? Sorry it's been a minute. I had a rough summer, but I'm back with a load of new toys and oodles of videos planned. I've had my first-generation, production Flare unit for a while now, and have finally had a chance to make a few comparison notes and videos for your consideration. In my opinion, the production model has slightly improved on the beta, although it can still be a bit of an esoteric riddle if you become obsessed with the on-screen wattage fluctuations. My answer to that is, ignore it's cranky brain, engage boost mode, and put the pedal to the floor. I don't own an inductable vape that I can't get a one-and-done hit from with 60seconds to play with in the Flare. It's a core piece of kit in my line-up right now, and it's just so nice to be able to use these vapes outside and portably.
