Research infrastructure in Pure |

At the German Sport University Cologne (GSU) Pure was implemented in 2014. For several years the focus was on publications, projects, and activities. These were the content types that were displayed in the research portal of the University – an Advanced Pure Portal that was specially built for the GSU and which was therefore not particularly flexible. With the move to Pure 5 and the Pure Portal in early 2023, the opportunities in general and for display content in the research portal increased. Accordingly, other types of content came into focus. Research infrastructure (facilities/equipment) was one of them. So far neglected, the idea was born to get more transparency about existing equipment and laboratories at the university in order to enable exchange and to stimulate cooperation. The lecture will show how this idea was discussed and taken up within the university, how the process was set up in Pure and how the new possibilities are accepted by the researchers. We are interested in experiences from other universities. The aim is to discuss how even more commitment and participation can be achieved.
