Stream / Download ► https://fanlink.tv/HEXAGON133 Don't forget to subscribe to our channel ►    / hexagon   Hey guys, Gordon from Botnek here.  Let me fill you in on a little secret...   I love piano house.  As soon as I hear one chord from the famous Korg M1 "House Piano" preset, I lose my marbles.  I can’t get enough of it.  I’ve wanted to do a classic-sounding piano house song with Botnek for years, but when I tried, they were all just kinda, well, bad.  And that says a lot coming from a guy who loves any and every piano house song (so I say). SO! For years, Erick and I have lived in different cities and don’t get to jam a lot. This story starts in one of those rare moments where we do get to get together and rock out.  At one point I did my best impression of a babe diva vocalist into my phone (singing about rock climbing), and we started playing an acidy bassline on a friend’s Moog we had sitting on the floor (literally).  And then, as if a voice from a higher power (pun intended) whispered into my ear, it said “this could be a nice PIANO HOUSE SONG GORD”.  And you know what, that voice was right.  At least I think so.   And then!! Like most songs that are started, this one was forgotten about.  For a long long long time.  Until one night, we were doing one of those extendo DJ sets, you know, the ones where after hours of playing you go “I am literally running out of songs to play”.  Might not happen to everyone, but it happens to us.  There weren’t many things left to play, and the demo of this song was staring at me saying “pick me!”.  Truth be told, I didn’t know what it even sounded like anymore, but we took a leap of faith and the crowd went WILD. With their hooting and hollering filling the room, it was evident this song must be finished. So, exposition aside,  the song was finished, and when the opportunity came up to release with Hexagon, we were super down.   We’ve been fans of Don’s since a tune of his called “Hooligans” came out years back.  That track of his was very much our little anthem at times, and maybe, for someone else, this tune will be theirs.   AWWWWWW!
