Wonder what would happen if you moved the cup while doing the swirl (tree ring) dirty pour. I tried it in the video before this one but wanted to stretch it even more. Categorized PICTURED LINKS to hundreds of fluid art products! 😊 ______________________________________ = For this painting I used all Artist's Loft paints Here is an eBay link for the blue-nozzle little squeeze bottles I use... they take a while to get but they’re too pricey on Amazon : goo.gl/LMC6Uf = Once my paintings dry, I spray them with a low odor, user-friendly, crystal clear, museum-quality varnish designed for acrylics, oils and watercolors. It gives a glossy finish. Here is a link: http://amzn.to/2jGh3KO When I want to spray a matte/satin finish instead, I use this: http://amzn.to/2fvgYF0 = This is my usual formula for all the paint: 1 - 2 parts paint to 4 parts Floetrol I then add a little water if necessary to get my paint to be the consistency of really warm honey, or like heavy cream. The amount of water will depend on the type of acrylic paint you used ... Flow acrylic (runny like house paint) will need very little water if any, while medium to heavy body paint (thick like toothpaste) will need more water. Try to limit the amount of water that you use ... too much will break down the binding properties of the acrylic paint. How much is too much? Try to keep the amount of water under 50% of the amount of paint. This was done on a 5 x 17 inch piece of gessoed plywood.
