For the insta360 x4 and x3 I’ve been running wind covers over the mics to help reduce wind noise and get better audio while filming with these action cameras. The downside with this method is this is an extra accessory you have to purchase, plus I know for snowboarding once they get wet, it’s fairly easy for them to fall off which in turn means you have to buy more. But I wanted to see is the built in mic cover on the insta360 x5 just as good if not better than running an insta360 x4 with wind muff.
