Known as one of Austria's most beautiful hiking and recreational areas, it consists of six main villages: Nesselwängle, Grän, Tannheim, Zöblen, Schattwald, and Jungholz. Year-Round Activities Summer Hiking & Biking: The valley features over 300 km of hiking trails, ranging from leisurely paths around lakes like Vilsalpsee and Haldensee to challenging summit climbs like the Rote Flüh. Winter Sports: For the 2024/2025 season, the region offers 55 km of downhill slopes across six ski areas, including the Neunerköpfle and Füssener Jöchle. It is particularly famous for its 140 km of cross-country skiing trails.
