***Happy New Year Everyone, May the 2009 be the best year of all. Here's my new video of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, my 5th tribute to this amazing couple. About the Movie: This time Richard appears not only as an actor in this film but also as the director. The film was shot back in 1967 and its called Doctor Faustus. Richard portrays Doctor Faustus, a scholar who gives his soul to Lucifer in exchange for living 24 years during which Mephistopheles (a master of the necromancy art) will be his slave. Faustus signs the pact in his own blood and Mephistopheles reveals the works of the devil to Faustus. Elizabeth appears as the spirit of Helen of Troy and seduces Faustus with her beauty. A strange and bizarre movie which I found really nice but confusing if you dont pay attention. Both Richard and Elizabeth look incredible, especially Elizabeth. About the Music: Requiem of a dream has been one of my all-time favorite soundtrack for some time now and I wanted to make a video with its theme for a long time. The song is called Lux Aeterna by Clint Marsell. Hope you like it as much as I do.
