The Nana Skytrain station is just 350 meters away from the hotel. This street is ideal for individuals who enjoy nightlife and late-night dining. The entire street is lined with nightclubs, late-night dining establishments, and beer pubs. Grand President girl friendly? Yes, this hotel is girl and guest-friendly. No extra charges, or fees if you bring a girl/guest in the room. Hotel cleanliness Although the Grand President has recently undergone refurbishment, it is quite an old hotel that has been in operation since 1995, making it 28 years old. Therefore, it should not be expected that everything is new and shiny. The bathrooms have an old-fashioned style with bathtubs, and most of the furniture dates back to the nineties. Nevertheless, the hotel appeared to be clean. It is possible to encounter cockroaches in the bathroom, but I did not see many of them during my stay. The bedsheets were clean, but some old washed-out stains were visible. Grand President swimming pool and fitness center? The swimming pool can be found on the fifth floor, along with the fitness center and laundry room. Both of these amenities are of good quality for a budget hotel. The swimming pool has plenty of sunbeds available. The fitness center is better than the average gym in budget hotels, with dumbbells that go up to 25 KG and a new, solid functional training device. Is Grand President good value for money? While the quality of the room may not be in line with what you can typically expect in this price range, it is important to take into account the location of the hotel. Soi 11 is an extremely popular street, known for its vibrant nightlife and numerous restaurants. Additionally, the Nana Skytrain station is just a couple of minutes walk away, making it easy to get around Bangkok. Also, the hotel's facilities, such as the swimming pool, fitness center, and laundry room, add to its appeal. Therefore, my recommended price range for Grand President is around 30-40 USD per night is quite easy to find at least in the low season.
