Here's the very first ROM hack I ever made, made on March 8, 2018, using SMB Utility. The whole thing was just experimental. If you put a flagpole on the castle levels, instead of moving onto the next world, you move onto the next level in that world. I further carried this on. On the underground and water levels (apart from 1-2, obviously), I had to put a flagpole and castle underground/in the water. This is due to the fact that if it weren't there, and I went to the pipe at the end, the game would just send me back to the beginning of the level (like in World 36-1, aka the Minus World). World 1-37 is the furthest level that I could reach, due to the fact that in that level, the timer runs out immediately and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
