Part One Front 0:00 Intro, saying hi and happy new year! 15:40 Fuse interfacing to pocket opening Pockets Option 1: without piping 18:23 Sew pocket to front Option 2: with piping (5/8” seam allowance) 28:49 Sew pre-washed piping between front pant and pocket 30:46 French seam pocket bottom 35:02 Tack pockets to side and waist seams Center front/Faux fly Upon reflection: Saremy would have preferred to use the French seam method on the center front which would have meant sewing the fly curve wrong sides together first - no serging/overlocking necessary. Below is the method that was demonstrated during the livestream: 37:30 Baste center front of fly seam to dot and sew rest of seam with regular stitch 41:15 Serge/overlock faux/fly curve along edge to crotch 46:23 Press fly to left and side of pant and top stitch.
