The following was recorded on November 10, 1994, by Laurie Daniels, in her home in Oceanside, CA. Laurie, a nurse and the mother of Miles Doughty, founding member and guitarist of the band Slightly Stoopid, ran a drug rehabilitation program at the time along her boyfriend. While participating in the program, Bradley stayed in the home and we are lucky enough to have had this hour long acoustic session captured on video. Bradley's time on earth was cut far too short, and as such, this recording stands as one the most intimate pictures available, as well as a clear, unfiltered view into his life, both musically and personally. This was likely not the easiest time in his life, but still, his music shines. Despite the informal setting and casual nature of the recording, nothing is out of place. Brad's voice, presence and musical intuition are on full display. While the tape has circulated widely for years, the video has been fully restored with the audio recovered and remastered. However, it's worth noting that while "improved" in some ways, this project was not intended to be an upgrade or better than the original--just different. In many ways it's impossible to make better what was actually captured, when it was captured, regardless of its subjective imperfections. What makes it perfect is the fact that it exists in the way that it does and there's really no way to improve upon that. That being said, I hope you enjoy viewing and listening to it.
