Day 74: 15th June (Shenavall Bothy to Glen Douchary) - silence of the hills

A big climb from the bothy but at least the path was easy to follow. Later on the path disappeared and I ended up doing more miles than I'd intended due to the boggy nature of the terrain. The silence on the hills is amazing. If the wind drops and there are no streams nearby, it is totally quiet. Following my 70th birthday last year, I'm walking from Lands End to John O'Groats AND BACK "End to End" x2 and aiming to raise more than £70,000 for Hope and Homes for Children.
