Luke Samouel Simon, 60, was sentenced to 31 years jail in the NSW Supreme Court on Thursday morning after confessing to the murder of 38-year-old Irish tradie Damien Conlon in regional NSW. The court heard how Mr Simon decided to shoot Mr Conlon over a family property dispute, telling him to “get on his knees” and “confess” to “robbing him” before shooting him in the head on February 7th, 2023.
