Lesson 16 - Lecture 2 - The Solar Interior: Theory and Observation - OpenStax Astronomy 2023

In this lecture, we will look at our understanding of the solar interior. We will look briefly at the ideas and how we can make theoretical models of the solar interior and how we can use observations to refine and improve those models. These lecture videos are designed to complement the content in the OpenStax Astronomy 2e textbook. The book can be downloaded free of charge at: https://openstax.org/details/books/as... Note: Lesson 0 materials are specific for the classes that I teach. Lesson 1 will start with Chapter 1 of the textbook.
