_____________________ Pain, anger, sadness; these r few of the many emotions that ppl label as negative, and stuff u must force urself to move on from. But just as much as joyous feelings, these r just as beautiful and often mark the start of something new. I wanted to convey that in this cover As humans, negative feelings are natural, but we often cast it aside under self sacrifice and comfort of others, or forcefully suppress it bcs its shunned upon in society. But i think its so important to embrace even our ugliest parts of ourselves in the name of self love. We can only start to process and move on from these emotions once we let ourselves feel it in full, and take as much time as we need to sit in it. Only then can you sort ur thoughts in clarity to think of the next steps, and if u need breaks in between before that, that’s okay To start off the summer, I wanted to convey that kind of message with my vocals and MV. To me, Fire◎Flower is a song that embraces the heartbreaking emotions that life comes with; denial, sadness, grief, etc, while confidently taking steps towards new beginnings that could only happen because those emotions existed.
