Armed with the 2024 Toyota Tacoma and a borrowed camper from Tactical Application Vehicles, I headed deep into the Colorado backcountry for one last off-road trip before winter locked it all down. But… I blew it. Between heavy cloud cover, mountain shadows, and bad timing, I missed the comet completely. No Aurora, no cosmic light show. Just cold air, moose, a moody sky, and a quiet fire. But in a way, this trip gave me something more meaningful — time to reflect on a wild year, and what’s coming next for this truck and this channel. This is the final camp of 2024 before the big Tacoma build begins, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.
