7 PRC Ammo Test- 160 grain Barnes LRX vs Federal 170 grain Terminal Ascent

I’m testing accuracy of two great ammo options for the 7mm PRC. I’ve tested velocity of both using the Garmin Xero. In my 20” barrel, my average velocity is 2910 with the Barnes 160 grain LRX, and 2924 with the Federal 170 grain Terminal Ascent. I’ve also water tested both at 200 yards. Both bullets retained 95- 98% of their weight through (3) 5-gallon water jugs. This video shows my accuracy results after many shots downrange with bith ammos, over the past 6 months. The Barnes has been a clear winner across the board for me. Both in terminal results and repeatable accuracy. All barrels and ammo are are different, so I’m curious what results others have seen.
