New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin has launched a criminal probe into an abrupt reduction of traffic enforcement on the Garden State's busiest highways by the New Jersey State Police. According to the New York Times, traffic enforcement on the New Jersey Turnpike, the Garden State Parkway and other state busiest highways sharply declined for an eight-month period beginning in July 2023.
