K. 59 - Piano Sonata I - Mov. I - Grave Sostenuto (Original Composition)

As promised, this is the first movement of my Piano Sonata I in C# Minor (my favorite key). Judging from the tone of the first measure and the arpeggios distributed throughout, you can probably guess what inspired it... that is, maybe. Regardless, I put true feeling into this; emotions I hope will not be lost to the wind. The Second Movement should not take too long to complete. Needless to say though, the true challenge will definitely be the third movement. I can feel a P r e s t o A g i t a t o in my future if you know what I mean... But before that, I'm going to attend to the Vector to the Heavens organ transcription, finish K. 58 properly, and perhaps post some other short piece in between.
