Well, you go to the Smart and Final store and buy the resealable 2-gallon clear plastic bags, and then visit a crafts supply store and buy some of the fiber fluff stuff that people use to stuff dolls and pillows. Then, with an Exacto knife, an empty bottle and a rubber band, you make a hole in the packed inoculated moist sawdust pellet bag (using the new 2-gallon bags) and then push in the polyester fiber fluff stuff, and close up the bag - and in the process you give the carbon dioxide exhaling mycelium a chance to breathe with the filter allowing an exchange of the room's oxygen, filtering out airborne bacteria while allowing the mycelium to grow unabated. This is a great way to extend mushroom fruiting bags. Very cheap. I hope you found it interesting and something doable at your home or business.
