出自 佛法滿人間《因緣觀》 更多 星雲大師 智慧法語都在 http://www.fgs.video/ 各位觀眾 Hello TV viewers. 大家平安吉祥 Peace and joy to you all. 今天和各位講 Today I'm going to talk about 這個因緣觀 the contemplation of causal condition. 就是我們觀念裡面 In our concept, 我們思想裡面 or in our mind, 要知道因緣這個關係很重要 we know that cause and condition are very important. 我們每一個佛教徒都聽說過 Every Buddhist should have heard that 兩千五百年前在印度 2500 years ago, in India, 菩提樹下金剛座上 on the vajra seat under the Bodhi tree, 釋迦牟尼佛開悟成佛了 the Sakyamuni Buddha got enlightened and attained Buddhahood. 釋迦牟尼佛開悟成道 The Sakyamuni Buddha got enlightened and attained the Way. 悟的什麼道 What was the Way that he realized? 大家要瞭解 You should know that 他悟的道就是因緣 the Way that he realized was cause and condition, 所謂緣起性空 i.e. interdependent arising and emptiness of nature. 就是宇宙人生 This is the fact of the universe and our life. 有一個根本的問題 To ask one basic question: 就是為什麼有宇宙人生 Why are there the universe and human life? 它有因緣的 They have their own cause and condition. 有緣才能生起的 They can only arise upon conditions. 所以這個世間上 So in this world, 沒有一下說天上掉下來 a thing won't come out from nowhere in the sky 地下蹦出來 or under the ground. 一顆種子埋到土地裡面去 Even a seed is sowed in the land, 它必須要有陽光、要有空氣 it still needs sunlight, air, 要有水分還需要有肥料 water and fertilizer, 所以種種的因緣和合 and the union of all the above factors 這一個種子它才能成長 enables the seed to grow, 才能將來開花結果 and finally, burst into bloom and come to fruition. 假如說你把種子放在桌子上 If you just put the seed on the table, 它這個不合因緣 it cannot tally with its cause and condition, 它因緣不具備它不能完成 and so nothing will happen. 所以這個是有很多的人 There are many people who 因緣不具備一生潦倒 haven't possessed cause and condition and so are down on their luck. 有的人看起來好像窘迫不堪 Some people have long been in a stymie 他會時來運轉 飛黃騰達 but are soon able to climb up the ladder fast 為什麼 他因緣到啦 as their cause and condition come their way! 我覺得因緣 I feel that cause and condition 這給我們的人生的影響關係 have great bearing on our lives. 無論你做什麼事 No matter what you do, 你比方說你要結婚 say for example, when you get married, 男女戀愛 or fall in love with a man or a woman, 你也要有因緣 you need to have causes and conditions 我們門當戶對 such as both families are of equal standing, 我們學歷 similar educational background of both parties, 我們的家人都同意 the approval from both families, 我們的關係都良好 and a good mutual relationship. 我們結合了就成為 The union of all the above results in 成家立業就好 a nuptial relationship. 所謂善因善緣 We need good cause and condition. 我們要開工廠、要辦事業 When you want to build a factory, or develop your career, 我們也要 you need 對的 我要有本錢 to have enough capital, 我要有顧客 you need to have customers, 我要有產品 you need to have good products, 我要有品質、要有品牌 you need to have quality brand, 我生意才做得出去 before you can do a thriving business. 我因緣具備 You need to have all the cause and condition handy. 所以一個人要想成功 So if one wants to succeed, 具備好多的因緣、好多的條件 he has to possess many causes and conditions first. 比方說我們要找個職業 Say for example, you get a job 找個職業你要老闆要接受我 only when your prospective boss accept you 要讓我獲得有緣分 and has affinities with you. 怎麼有緣分 What is meant by having affinities? 比方說他知道我這個人 For example, he knows that I am 很有禮貌 very polite, 很明理 sensible, 很負責 responsible, 很勤勞 and hardworking. 很能幫助他成就很多的事業 He also knows that I can help him with many enterprises; 他知道我對他一定有緣 and knows that I am his destined 有因緣 cause and condition, 有幫助 a great aid. 他就會用我啦 That's why he would hire you. 所以各位我們的佛教聽眾們 Dear Buddhist audience, 我們要給世間很多人的因緣 we need to give people in the world many causes and conditions 讓世間很多的人 so that they 也給我們的因緣 also offer us the causes and conditions that we need. 這因緣是相互的 The causes and conditions are mutual. 必定必能成功 You will definitely succeed. 祝福大家 Hope that you will 都有對因緣有深切的看法 have a profound understanding of cause and condition. 謝謝 Thank you.
