Hello Everyone! Today I'm in BANGKOK (กรุงเทพมหานคร), the capital of THAILAND (ราชอาณาจักรไทย). A beautiful city in Southeast Asia and one of the most visited cities in the planet. It is well known for its temples and palaces like Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), Wat Arun (วัดอรุณราชวราราม ราชวรมหาวิหาร) the Grand Palace Complex (พระบรมมหาราชวัง) but not so much for its PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM, that is actually pretty amazing. You can find METRO trains in elevated and underground tracks (MRT Blue Line, MRT Purple Line, BTS Sukhumvit Line and BTS Silom Line), commuter trains like the SRT red line (light and dark) and two lines of Monorail (MRT Yellow and MRT Pink Line). This time we are going to see some parts of the city while we ride a BTS SKYTRAIN (รถไฟฟ้าบีทีเอส) from the SILOM LINE, from end to end (NATIONAL STADIUM STATION / สนามกีฬาแห่งชาติ to BANG WA / บางหว้า), consisting in 14 elevated station. This line is together, with the Sukhumvit Line (สายสุขุมวิท) and the Gold Line (สายสีทอง), part of the BTS Skytrain, a metro system that runs on viaducts and give us spectacular panoramic views of the city. Silom Line is also well connected with the MRT BLUE LINE and in the next years, with the MRT PURPLE LINE. This line can take you to some popular places in Bangkok, like Chao Phraya River (แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา), CentralWorld (เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์), Siam Square (สยามสแควร์), Siam Center (สยามเซ็นเตอร์), Siam Paragon (สยามพารากอน), King Power Mahanakhon (คิง เพาเวอร์ มหานคร) and The Royal Bangkok Sports Club (ราชกรีฑาสโมสร) among others.
