All cars tested mostly fully tuned with all available parts installed. PP requirements met by adjusting weight, power restrictor, etc². All cars go through a clean 1 lap run on fuel map 6 repeated 3x & the fastest time is selected. Conclusion: The arrival of the E36 means we finally have every generation of M3 in-game except for the latest G80. The decision to separate & turn the M3 into a sedan & M4 into the coupe variant still bothers me. Anyways, the E36 is another new car in-game that also got an engine swap day 1 just like the EG6 from the previous update & what monstrous engine it got... the LS7 from the BRZ drift car! This is a popular swap in real life of course in a lot of street & drift cars. I can also think of a few other popular swaps like the 2JZ as well which hopefully Polyphony adds in the future. The stock S50 engine in this is honestly really good & didn't expect it to sound awesome! Fully tuned it revs to almost 10k rpm! It still manages to get a respectable B Rank during my testing & lasts 3 laps. The LS7 swap however is wayyy faster... 8 secs faster in-fact getting A+ on my ranking but fuel only lasts 2 laps. Handling & braking is not too bad as well. Overall, quite impressed with the E36 in-game. The E36 is kinda slept on in real life as well as a very underrated M3 among all the other generations. Try this one out yourself since it's relatively cheap to buy & experiment on.
