Boat training comes in many forms, we have a lot of on water time practicing boat handling. We practice slow speed and planing manoeuvres. Man overboard, coming alongside floating and stationary objects like pontoons. This is mixed with some time in the classroom working on theory of navigation, safety as well as general seamanship. Boat Handling - planing speed Using a powerboat at planing speed is exciting. Becoming familiar with manoeuvres at higher speeds.
