The Best Pastrami Sandwich EVER on the Blackstone Griddle | Reuben Sandwich Recipe In this video I'm making a Pastrami Reuben Recipe on the Blackstone Griddle. #pastramireuben #reubenrecipe #rblackstonegriddle Here is a little history on the Reuben Sandwich. The story behind the Reuben Sandwich is that it was created by a guy named Reuben Kulafkosky in Omaha, Nebraska around 1925. There are also some that say the Reuben Sandwich was created by a guy named Arnold Reuben in New York City around 1915. There's also a debate whether or not the original Reuben Sandwich was made with Corned Beef or Pastrami. Either way most would agree that the sandwich is made with Hot Pastrami or Corned Beef, 1,000 Island Dressing, melted Swiss Cheese, warm Sauerkraut on toasted Jewish Rye Bread. .⬇️⬇️⬇️INGREDIENTS⬇️⬇️⬇️ (for 2 sandwiches) 1/2 cup Sauerkraut 1 lb. sliced Pastrami 1,000 Island dressing 8 slices Swiss Cheese 4 slices Rye Bread Cooking Oil Mayo or Butter (I used Mayo) ✅ABOUT ME I have been cooking professionally for over 25 years in hotels, restaurants and catering.
