My first 3d project. I've been obsessively working on this for about two weeks. You can pick up marines 4 at a time. Transport them to the front line to destroy the enemy. Use rockets to destroy enemy armor, and use machine guns for the infantry. Watch out for AA guns that shoot flack in your direction. Every marine has a name and a rank that is randomly assigned at the beginning of the game. UI shows the stats of the marines you are carrying. This is just a testing battlefield that I set up. There are enemy spawners and friendly spawners. They spawn marines that patrol from one point to another and back. Later on I want to have missions you get assigned. One "mission" I added was a broken down jeep. You just need to take any marine into 1 meter of the jeep to fix it, then it drives to the base. I'm going to try to keep the game as simple as I can. Like flat terrain, low poly models, and such. Then put all of my time into having tight controls, and fun gameplay. I want to try to get a demo up on itch eventually. Maybe even playable in the browser. #godot
