MBTA Blue Line Hawker-Siddeley 0600s Tribute

This is a slideshow dedicating the 30+ years the MBTA Blue Line 0600 series rapid transit cars. These cars were built in 1978-80 and have taken quite a beating from the salt air, acid rain, and jet fuel over the years, which is why they came to an early retirement. These cars are of nearly the same design of the Orange Line 01200s series cars and were built at about the same time (these cars, the 0600s, are older). There are still 18 operable cars in the Orient Heights Yard, the best time to see them is the evening rush hour at about 3:15PM. Thanks for watching, Please subscribe!! P.S.
