Mount Tammany Trail: the best hike in NJ!

We hiked Mount Tammany back in 2016 and we decided to do it again on May 24, 2021! This is often referred to as the best hike in New Jersey and we absolutely love this trail. This trail is about 3.5 miles roundtrip and it took us about 2.5 hours (with plenty of stops for pictures) and by doing this trail on a Monday morning, we were able to enjoy the view from the summit all to ourselves! You can see gorgeous views of the Delaware Water Gap below and Mount Minci (in Pennsylvania) right in front of you! We hiked the red trail to the top and the blue trail back down to the bottom which, in our opinion, is the best way to tackle this trail.
