Proyecta 100K UPCEA Award

Sacramento State’s College of Continuing Education welcomed the first participants of Proyecta 100K ­­ – a major educational and cultural exchange between the U.S. and Mexico. Nearly 40 students and professors from 10 universities in Mexico arrived in the capital city in Nov. 2014 and spent a month learning English and getting a taste of American culture. CCE’s Proyecta initiative received the International Program of Excellence Award from the University Professional & Continuing Education Association. Sarah Rodriguez, the program coordinator, accepted the award at UPCEA’s 100th annual conference in Washington, D.C. on March 31, 2015.
