Mixer bought and tested is the Philips HR3745 from the Viva Collection. Can it beat eggs and knead bread dough? My version is 450W with three pin plug. The mixer should be available in many countries around the world with suitable plugs for each market. In India currently the model without bowl is carried: HR3740. Price bought is in video itself. Discounted during an early Black Friday Sale. Edit: For Black Friday itself the sale price was further reduced! Oh well. For around S$50 one can get a hand mixer with 400-450W in Singapore. The stand and bowl are made with simple plastics, so it does not make sense to pay full retail price of S$79 to 89 for such stand mixers. Difference between HR3745/11 and HR3745/00 is the colour: purple and grey accent respectively. The HR3740 consists of only the hand mixer.
