Why Americans have guns: The reasons for the right to bear arms in the United States.

There are only a few countries in the world that have the right to bear arms. Some of these countries include Guatemala, Mexico and Honduras with the most profound being the United States of America. In 2021, 48,000 people died from gun-related injuries in the United States. Many Americans lobby and protest against current U.S gun laws, with many seeing the right to bear arms in the United States as outdated and irrelevant. Why does the US Constitution possess the right to bear arms and is it still relevant in the 21st century? The purpose of this video is to investigate the history of the 2nd amendment in America, its rationale and discuss the arguments for and against the right to bear arms in the United States.
