Voici mon remix de Studiopolis Zone Act 1, l'un des morceaux les plus emblématiques de Sonic Mania. Composé à l'origine par l'excellent Tee Lopes, ce titre aurait une petite histoire : c'est en réalité la toute première piste qu'il a écrite pour le jeu, celle qui a donné le ton à toute la bande-son. Pour ce qui est de mon remix, le challenge était de conserver/retrouver le groove initial, mettre en lumière ce que je préfère dans le morceau : la basse qui groove, les arpèges du début et les discrets contrechants de l'original (qui sont sifflés par un whistle chorusé sur ma version). Originally composed by the excellent Tee Lopes, this track has a little story behind it: it's actually the very first piece he wrote for the game, the one that set the tone for the entire soundtrack. As for my remix, the challenge was to preserve the original groove while highlighting what I love most about the track: the groovy bass, the arpeggios from the intro, and the subtle countermelodies of the original (which are whistled by a chorused whistle in my version).
