President Obama has admitted to using marijuana on several occasions and has also spoken out in support of legalization of the drug at the state level. The drug continues to see wider acceptance with a bill currently in Congress that would allow federal funds to be used to research and possibly develop safer strains for the public to consume. Obama recently told the press in an interview that he supports legalization and would continue to support it as the drug moves through state legislation.
