Totally Stumped… and a Question of Spirit? | Indoor Cricket vs Overton Originals

Indoor league cricket from 6th February at Dummer Down as we took on one of the strongest sides in the competition, Overton Originals. They batted first and we managed to bowl them out for 98, which felt very defendable on this surface. From behind the stumps I had the helmet cam running, so you’ll see full POV footage from keeping and from batting. It was also Josh’s first senior indoor appearance, stepping up from the junior section and straight into a tough fixture. Our reply never quite got going. Overton bowled very well and we struggled to build momentum, eventually finishing 66 all out on the final ball. There was also some confusion around the final over which led to a decision that raised a few eyebrows and sparked a bit of debate about the spirit of the game.
