Van Morrison at Orangefield 2014

This film combines views of East Belfast where Van Morrison grew up with highlights from the memorable concerts held in his old school, Orangefield High just before the buildings were demolished in 2014. The scenic views include many of the places Van references in his songs. The concert footage was shot by amateur fans but still captures the excitement and atmosphere of these special occasions. Not included in the credits is Alistair White on trombone / horns and Chris White on sax. The original camera operators are at present unknown so please get in touch if you would like to be recognised. If the owners of archive material have not been credited please make contact. Concerts on 23rd and 24 August 2014. New 2023 footage, production and editing by Peter Brownlee. A Chew Valley Films Production 2024.
